Film Production Logo


This is the film production logo for our upcoming original work. It was inspired by an image I had seen of a lighthouse and I decided to incorporate this into the 'I' of Illusio. The logo was completed on Adobe Photoshop where I used the image as reference to design the minimalist lighthouse design. The logo will be featured in the poster alongside other logos such as Warner Bros. to create an authentic-looking credits section. As well as being in the poster, it will be shown towards the beginning of the trailer. This is a common convention of film trailers to show the production logos and the film title in the inter-titles. 

 For the film trailer version, I plan to make the light beam glow through the use of Adobe After effects. After researching tutorials on how this could be achieved, I have created a draft version where I tested this out. The effect is promising however it will definitely be refined later in production as it is in primitive stages at the moment. When the rest of the footage has been filmed, this can be edited together as an inter-title.

TARGET AUDIENCE This mindmap was designed to gather our thoughts on a profile of our typical audience. The proposed target age range is 15-22, however Horror can certainly appeal to older adults as well. The age is limited to 15 minimum as this will be the age certificate of the film. Factors from what they eat to what they spend their money on were all considered  and questioned. Finding out what they would spend their money on gives us an indication of how much they might be willing to pay for a magazine or whether they would buy one at all.
