Film Production Logo - Trailer Draft


The first draft of our production logo was completed in Adobe After Effects. I utilised the light ray effect on the effects panel and used keyframes to change its position throughout the video. The name Illusio is the latin derivative of Illusion and we decided on this as it sounded quite unique and interesting. It would fit with film production as we are 'tricking' the audience into believing our narrative and therefore becoming invested in a story which, if completed successfully, will feel real and relatable.

TARGET AUDIENCE This mindmap was designed to gather our thoughts on a profile of our typical audience. The proposed target age range is 15-22, however Horror can certainly appeal to older adults as well. The age is limited to 15 minimum as this will be the age certificate of the film. Factors from what they eat to what they spend their money on were all considered  and questioned. Finding out what they would spend their money on gives us an indication of how much they might be willing to pay for a magazine or whether they would buy one at all. Each aspect should be remembered whilst creating each film product in order to produce something that has the greatest appeal to our target audience. Answers to what they might read or watch could provide ideas for intertextuality and references to be made in the trailer.
