Collage of Inspirational Front Covers

This image shows a collage of inspirational front covers. I tried to find films which are of the horror genre or have images which would fit in the genre e.g. Suicide Squad is a film about Supervillains yet the main image displays a witch character. For the large majority of these front covers, blue is a common colour shown through both backgrounds and font colours. This shade of blue gives a chilling feeling which I would like to incorporate into my own work. The colour red is also prominent in many front covers I have seen as it has many interpretations depending on genre. For the horror genre, it usually connotes blood and murder. Red will be the dominant colour throughout my poster and front cover because of this. As it also has a meaning of love or passion, it is doubly appropriate for my film which centers on the theme of a killer obsessed with love.
